We started crafting the game in Russian, when eventually my inability to handle the Russian keyboard has put the whole process in danger of being toooo slow. So, we switched the language to English - sorry and enjoy! ;)

Masonas: Hi, what duration is planned for the game? That's a tricky question and something to discuss with potential players. The amount of material we have collected for this game results in at least 8h of intensive gameplay. At the same time, there is a clash with the football Championship match starting at 17:00 the same day (Sat, July 14th). We do not want to start the game too late and finish in the morning. We have now 3 options: 1. Start 20:00 and reduce the duration to 6-7 hours. 2. Ignore the FIFA match and start early (around 18:00). 3. Shift the game 1 week forward. The current set-up is something like a trade-off between these options. Start time: 19:00 (a bit too early for soccer fans), the end can be pushed forward to 3 a.m. giving 8 hours, but slower teams won't be able to finish. Hey, let's Doodle that! ;)

Thanks for all the feedback via Doodle! It has shown that nothing needs to be changed - wow! :) So, we will start on July 14th at 19:00. And do not forget your binoculars - they will help you on at least 2 locations ;)

We have introduced several concepts to intensify the gameplay, squeeze more content into the limited time and reduce boring pauses.
- Next Level Preview: some levels will offer task preview of the next level to come. Despite a small penalty imposed, the benefit might be tremendous. Use it!
- Leave Before: on each level, there is an indicative exit time. Exceeding the Leave Before time (especially after midnight) is not advisable as it may cause inability to finish the game on time.
- Level Drop: gives an opportunity to skip some/easy/boring/ugly/hardcore levels in full or partially against a penalty in order to keep up with the average game pace.
- Driver Bonus: on some levels, short/long range bonus locations will be offered to drivers and/or lazy/smart field players to hang around with a GOOD purpose.
- Logic Bonus: on some levels, the coordination center will have a chance to contribute to the team's success significantly by solving dedicated tasks.

Combine the Next Level Preview and Driver Bonus features in order to do much more in shorter time, earn extra game points and win the game!
Using the Leave Before and Level Drop features the teams can make sure they will only play the levels they really like and complete the whole game on time.

Wow, that's one interesting announcement! Can't wait to see how it looks like in action and whether we will actually have time to utilize all these concepts, i.e. decide whether we want to take a look at the next level preview, drop some level or do those bonuses :)

There is even more to come... ;) We will make an intermediate finish at around 11 p.m. The first three teams to appear will receive free beer (one bottle per person). The beer selection will be wide. If you want to choose your favorite sort, make sure to arrive before others! BBQ will be added on top. Stay tuned for more!

Латыши-литовцы тоже тут на форуме наследили. Но на игру не зарегались. Ну, полюбасу весь этот английский фарш обратно в русское мясо уже не провернуть назад.

Genie: Will the briefing be in English also? :) Ребзы, шутки в сторону - у нас зареганы уже ДВЕ не-русскоговорящие команды! Писать двуязычную игру мы бы не потянули. Бриф, возможно, будет параллельно на русском и эстонском. А может быть я поднапрягусь и всё изложу разом на английском. Мы пока думаем.

Be careful: there will be nearly no Level Drop options before the beer. But you can: 1. think faster 2. run faster 3. drive faster 4. use the Next Level Preview feature! 5. relax and enjoy the game :)
The intermediate finish and beer are particularly meant for quick starters. If you plan to win the whole game, do not bother too much about the beer ;) We will have some kali/квас, water and BBQ for everyone. NB! 2/3 of the game duration, and the most demanding levels (worth dropping) are scheduled after the beer. Take this spoiler as an advice ;)
